Summer continues, and I’ve had an odd week. I’ve been struggling to figure out a routine now that both kids are home all day long, and I did have some progress- at the cost of my blog and vlog last week.
I’ve also become dependent on caffeine again. This has been an ongoing problem for me, and very troublesome considering I rely on caffeine to help me get through headaches.
So how did it all happen? I fell into a weird sleep cycle. I’ve been staying up late watching Supernatural with TheBoy (yes, I got him hooked), and getting up early enough with the kidlets that now I’m hardwired to get up at 6 am.
Which means that around 3, I tend to run out of energy. So, caffeine to the rescue.
I’m going to work on cutting back. Because some day I’m going to realize I’m having several strong chai lattes in one day- or slip up and tell someone about my Coke habit, only they won’t hear the capital C.
I know, I’m making light of an actual dependency that I do have. Which isn’t really all that fair. I am cutting back and hopefully I’ll be back to only having one cup of something in the morning. That’d be nice.
