I’m attempting NaNoBloPoMo – the blogging equivalent of National Novel Writing Month. Only it’s writing a blog post a day.
I’m not sure why I’m doing it. Things are plenty stressful here at the moment.
We’re under going a kitchen renovation. It’s almost done, but the last 6 weeks have been chaotic. People in, people out. Schedules disrupted.
It’s a wonder I haven’t been in the hospital. I haven’t been able to run, which helps lower my stress levels. I’ve been too tired in the morning to go before workers get here, and during the day, someone needs to stay while they work (because it’s been different teams of people – not just one crew of workers that we can get to know).
Then everything that was in the kitchen has been displaced- so you have 8 people living amongst rooms filled with boxes and suddenly so much less space.
And if it can’t be made in a microwave or on the grill, then you’re out of luck.
So I’ve shut down a bit. I do the bare minimum. Laundry gets cleaned, rooms get picked up just enough, dishes get washed. But I haven’t had a flare-up. So there’s that.
Think I’ll finish this?
